Riley Keough, the daughter of late singer-songwriter Lisa Marie Presley and musician Danny Keough, was spotted out and about with her husband, Ben Smith-Petersen, and their baby in Los Angeles on March 3. The family was seen leaving Erewhon Market in Calabasas, Calif., carrying some recent purchases.
The couple’s baby was born secretly in 2022, and her name is still unknown. She was carried by Ben, 31, who held her on his right hip while carrying a paper shopping bag with his left arm. Meanwhile, Riley, 33, held a box of leftovers and sipped on a drink while walking alongside her husband of seven years.
All three members of the family wore some sort of blue. Riley looked adorable in loose-fitting, wide-leg denim overalls that she paired with a white t-shirt and brown loafers. Ben wore blue jeans and a graphic white tee, while their daughter looked precious in a blue dress paired with a white sweater.
Riley and Ben’s baby is the first great-grandchild of Elvis Presley and Priscilla Presley, 77. Fans were not aware of her existence until Riley mentioned her in the eulogy she wrote for her mother’s funeral in January, which Ben read.
Riley is typically private about her personal life, but she recently opened up to Stephen Colbert about her relationship with Ben on the March 1 episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. She revealed that she knew he would be her husband by their second date, saying, “When I met my husband, he came out of the gas station on our second date, and I thought, ‘I’m going to marry him and have kids with him.’ We didn’t even say, ‘I love you,’ yet.”
The family outing comes at a tense time for Riley’s relationship with her grandmother, Priscilla. Priscilla is currently contesting her late daughter’s will, which she had been removed from in 2016. She argues that her signature looks “inconsistent.” Riley is said to be heartbroken over the trust dispute with a family member and is communicating with Priscilla through lawyers. Despite the family drama, Riley is keeping a positive outlook ahead of her new series, which is set to come out soon.
