Riverdale Star Credits Girlfriend for His Sobriety and Improved Life

Cole Sprouse, the star of the hit television show Riverdale, recently opened up about his journey to sobriety and how his girlfriend, Ari Fournier, has helped him throughout the process. During a candid interview on the Call Her Daddy podcast on March 8th, Sprouse shared that he has been sober for over a year and credited his newfound success to the self-work and professional work that he has done since becoming sober.

Sprouse also shared that he has been a big fan of cognitive behavioral therapy and psychiatry, which have helped him in his journey towards sobriety. However, he credited his girlfriend Ari for the improvements in his life as a consequence of their relationship.

“My life has just improved. I’ve gotten sober. I’ve questioned my existence like I never had before,” Sprouse explained. “I’ve had my best financial years. My career is doing better. When the private sphere is locked in, everything else comes from that foundation and it’s in no small part thanks to her.”

Sprouse and Fournier met through mutual friends, but it was not until a few years later that they started dating. Since then, they have grown close and Sprouse now considers her his best friend. They do everything together and their relationship has brought him a level of compatibility that he has never experienced before.

Sprouse also spoke about his previous relationship with his Riverdale co-star, Lili Reinhart, which ended in 2020 after three years of dating. He admitted that their work together made it difficult to overcome their feelings for each other and it caused some damage to their relationship. However, he confirmed that they are now good friends and they work well together.

Overall, Sprouse’s journey to sobriety and improved life is a testament to the power of personal growth and the positive impact that a supportive partner can have on one’s life.
